What happens when a passionate writer collaborates with an equally passionate illustrator? A picture book!
A love-project with a dear friend, How Ducks Got Webbed Feet is a sweet tale about a duck who defies societal norms, questions convention and, ultimately, teaches everyone about the importance of staying true to oneself.
The back-story of this project is that my friend and I are both busy mums who recognise the absolute necessity of having a creative outlet. Fighting the mindset of ‘we-don’t-have-time’, we woke up in the wee hours of the morning consistently for months to create this picture book.
